Donnell isn't expected to play Sunday at Washington, after the Giants found a "troubling result" on an MRI on his neck, Dan Graziano of ESPN New York reports. "It's not looking good," Donnell said.

Analysis: On Monday, Donnell stated that he felt 100 percent after doctors cleared him, but Wednesday's development leaves the tight end without a return date. While he'll likely be ruled out in advance of Sunday's game, Jordan Raanan of NJ.com speculated that Donnell may be in danger of missing the rest of the season. In the meantime, Will Tye and Jerome Cunningham will handle TE reps for the Giants, but a free-agent addition to the corps isn't out of the question.

Dobson is dealing with a high ankle sprain, Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald reports.

Analysis: We'd expect the Patriots to rule the wideout out for Sunday night's game against the Broncos later this week, and beyond that it's plausible he will miss additional time. With Julian Edelman out, plus Danny Amendola and Keshawn Martin also hobbled, the Patriots' depth at wideout is currently taxed.

Hyde (foot) won't participate in Wednesday's practice, Cam Inman of the San Jose Mercury News reports.

Analysis: With each passing week and no practice participation, there's no telling when Hyde may be able to return from the stress fracture in his left foot. The sinking 49ers also have little reason to trot him out there until he's completely healthy, which will keep Shaun Draughn at the top of the RB pecking order. In back-to-back starts, Draughn has managed 28 carries for 95 yards and 12 receptions (on 16 targets) for 78 yards.

Taylor (right shoulder) was limited at practice Wednesday, ESPN's Mike Rodak reports.

Analysis: Per Rodak, Taylor relayed that he rested his shoulder Wednesday, but plans to resume throwing at Thursday's practice. Assuming that occurs without any setbacks, we'd expect the QB to remain on course to be able to play Sunday against the Chiefs.

Morris (rib) practiced fully Wednesday, Tarik El-Bashir of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.

Analysis: In Week 10, Morris suffered a rib injury but played through the pain, totaling 15 rushes for 92 yards and three receptions for 14 yards. He attempted to do the same Sunday at Carolina, but his early aggravation resulted in no production whatsoever. Head coach Jay Gruden confirmed the nature of the ailment Wednesday, calling it a bruised rib, with no fractures or cartilage damage, according to Brian McNally of 106.7 the Fan DC. As a result, Morris' availability for Sunday's game versus the Giants isn't really in question, but his workload could be curtailed if he's unable to handle the discomfort.
