Rogers (hamstring/foot) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Colts writer Kevin Bowen reports.

Analysis: Rogers' absence Sunday is expected to be offset by the respective returns of Donte Moncrief and Phillip Dorsett, who both figure to push Rogers further down the pecking order at receiver once he's able to return.

Allen (ankle) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Colts writer Kevin Bowen reports.

Analysis: Allen's injury is considered a week-to-week ordeal, and considering he didn't practice this week, it's no surprise that he won't play Sunday. While Allen's situation will continue to be updated going forward, Jack Doyle stands to benefit as long as he remains sidelined.

Moncrief (shoulder) will play in Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Kevin Bowen of colts.com reports.

Analysis: Moncrief returned to practice Wednesday for the first time since Week 2, setting him up to end his streak of absences at five consecutive games. He's unlikely to immediately step back into the every-down role he had in Week 1, as he was limited throughout the week of practice and spotted in a no-contact jersey as recently as Friday. The Colts are also expected to have fellow wideout Phillip Dorsett, who missed Week 7 due to a hamstring injury. Moncrief could thus be eased back into the mix, though it's worth noting that he played 68 of 70 offensive snaps in Week 1, clearly working ahead of Dorsett as the No. 2 wide receiver.

    • Shepard will be limited by coach...

Shepard will be limited by coach Dirk Koetter to 30 offensive snaps due to his importance on special teams, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Analysis: Shepard was thought to be one of the Buccaneers that could benefit most from Vincent Jackson's (knee) absence, and while that still could prove true, he'll evidently have to make his impact within a 30-snap cap on offense. With Jackson missing his first game of the season last Sunday, Shepard featured for 27 offensive plays, which comfortably marked his highest involvement this season, and his five catches for 77 yards and a score reflected that. While Shepard should see a similar amount of snaps going forward, thus boosting his fantasy stock a bit, his status as Tampa Bay's special teams captain will see his share of snaps on offensive restricted to the aforementioned amount.

Woods (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots after practicing in a limited fashion all week.

Analysis: Per the Bills' official site, Woods, who missed last weekend's game, is at this stage expected to give it a go Sunday, with the report acknowledging that "how long his foot will hold up if he plays is hard to predict." The Bills could certainly use Woods on Sunday, with Sammy Watkins and Greg Salas on IR and Marquise Goodwin ruled out for the contest. Also in the team's Week 8 wideout mix are Justin Hunter, Walter Powell, Brandon Tate and Ed Eagan, with Hunter profiling as the upside fantasy dart among that quartet.
