Jackson (concussion) was a full practice participant both Wednesday and Thursday.

Analysis: Jackson thus seems likely to play against the Browns on Sunday, but his role remains rather uncertain. If Lardarius Webb (back) returns, Jackson will likely work as the nickel corner. If not, either Jackson or Chykie Brown will start across from Jimmy Smith. Brown got the nod in Week 1, but was then replaced by Jackson for Week 2. IDP owners likely want to avoid the situation altogether, as neither Brown nor Jackson offers much long-term appeal.

Rudolph (abdomen) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.

Analysis: Rhodes was limited in practice last week with a hamstring injury but played a full game Sunday. He was limited in Wednesday's practice, so his improvement Thursday likely indicates this injury won't keep him from playing.

Archer (ankle), who was limited for a second straight day Thursday, will likely need to log a full practice Friday in order to play in Sunday's game against the Panthers, ESPN.com reports.

Analysis: Archer missed Thursday's loss to the Ravens, and the long week may not be quite enough for him to get back on the field. If he does play, he'll likely work as the kick returner, and could get a few touches on offense.

Beason is slated to visit a foot specialist Friday in Charlotte, NC, Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports.

Analysis: Beason was sidelined at practice for a second straight day Thursday. However, despite the inactivity, he relayed afterward that his foot feels "drastically" improved, according to Jordan Raanan of NJ.com. Beason further believes that his current issue is tied to loose scar tissue, which, if true, could clear the linebacker for Sunday's contest against the Texans. However, he would seem hard-pressed to push aside a healthy Jameel McClain for many snaps at middle linebacker, if Beason is active.

Rudolph (abdomen) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.

Analysis: Rudolph has participated in practice two consecutive days, although limited both times, so at this point he still seems likely to play Sunday.
